Team Overview
Responsible for best-in-class in-store pharmacy operations, diagnostics, e-consultation, and delivering excellent customer experience. Works closely with Warehousing, Merchandising, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Sales Performance:
- Achieve daily sales targets, including private label, BigBasket, generics, high-margin, and diagnostics.
- Develop partnerships with local doctors, gyms, salons, grocery stores.
- Ensure prescription reminder and follow-up calls to customers.
- Maintain commitment registers and timely order closure.
Omnichannel Business:
- Ensure zero pushback and 100% TAT compliance on omnichannel orders.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and guide corrective actions.
Team Management & Training:
- Motivate and manage team performance, attendance, and rosters.
- Set clear targets and incentives.
- Conduct daily reviews and knowledge training.
- Guide professional telephone and WhatsApp communication.
- Nominate team members for central training.
Customer Service & Experience:
- Maintain team grooming and etiquette.
- Ensure timely responses (within 15–20 mins) to in-store and remote customer inquiries.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
Inventory Management:
- Ensure 100% accuracy in inventory inwarding and SKU placement.
- Remove expired, near-expiry, non-moving items daily.
- Conduct physical SKU audits and dispense accurately.
- Train team on inventory accuracy and prevent theft/pilferage.
- Manage inventory issues and local demand forecasting.
Marketing:
- Plan and execute outdoor marketing campaigns with team.
- Monitor and promote current offers and initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Pharmacy with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in computers and pharmacy software.
- High attention to detail, multitasking ability, and ethical conduct.
